Mrs. Lois B. McAden, age 99 of South Hill, died Friday, November 25, 2016. She is survived by her son, John Wesley McAden (Mary) of South Hill; daughter, Myrna Howerton (Bob) of Clarksville; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and twenty great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Wilbur Brewer of Lawrenceville and three sisters, Jane Browder of Kenbridge, Minnie Downey of Alberta, and Frances Crutchfield of South Hill. Mrs. McAden was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Page McAden.

Mrs. McAden was a retired seamstress and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Her family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to her caregivers, Rosa Stith, Reverly King, and Frankie Moats.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2pm, Sunday November 27th at Farrar Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Crestview Memorial Park, LaCrosse, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
