Mrs. Edna B. Walker, age 96 of South Hill, died Friday, December 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Edward B. Walker, Jr., and is survived by a son, Edward B. “Eddie” Walker, III (Wilma) of LaCrosse and a daughter, Janice Walker Williams (Stan) of Chesterfield, VA. Also surviving are five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Mrs. Walker worked with Citizen Bank, later known as First VA Bank and was a member of South Hill United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Providence U. M. Church Cemetery.
