Duane Edward Walker, age 46 of South Hill, died January 5, 2018. He is survived by his son, Clay Walker and daughter, Taylor Walker both of South Hill, VA; his mother, Phyllis A Walker of South Hill; his father, Edward B. Walker, III (Wilma) of Roanoke Rapids, NC. Also surviving is his brother, Brian A Walker of South Hill; a sister, Shelley W. Miller of Harrisonburg, VA and his special companion Betty Lou Tulloh of Rawlings, VA.

Duane was an employee of VDOT and a friend to all that knew him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3pm, Saturday, January 13 at New Hope Baptist Church, Hwy 138, LaCrosse, VA. The family will receive friends from 2pm until the time of service.. Memorial considerations may be made to Rock United Methodist Church Building Fund, 75 Rock Church Rd., Lawrenceville, VA 23868.
