To the Family. I am sorry to hear of your loss and know the pain of the death of a loved one. It can be a difficult time. God's Word is a great source of comfort and hope. Isaiah 25:8 says that 'death will be swallowed up forever.' What a relief. The time will come when humans will no longer look forward to it. Even better, is when the time comes when we will see our loved ones again as Acts 24:15 promises, "There is going to be a resurrection...". The God of the Bible is truly 'the God of all comfort.' ~2 Corinthians 1:3
