Mrs. Kathleen “Suki” Watson Lawson, age 84 of South Hill died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at her residence. She is survived by her daughters, Patsy L. Walker (“Skinner”) of Kenbridge, Cynthia L. Wilson (Rex) of Colonial Heights, Sandra L. Kidd (David) of LaCrosse and Christy L. Pierce (Chris) of Brodnax; thirteen grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Penny J. Watson, Jr (Pat) of South Hill; a sister, Betsy W. Russell of Bracey; daughter-in-law, Linda Lawson of Boydton and sister-in-law, Mildred Watson of South Hill. Mrs. Lawson was preceded in death by her husband, Admiral Houston “Tommy” Lawson; a son, Donald Lee Lawson and brother, William C. “Poke” Watson.
