Mr. William Arthur “Billy” Napier, age 62 of LaCrosse, VA died Saturday, April 14, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Napier of the home; a daughter, Charity Dawn Napier (Kenny Lyman) of Chester; and two grandchildren, Katelyn and Kenneth Lyman, Jr. Also surviving is his mother Merle R. Smith (Harvey) of Saxe, and father, Floyd Napier; and a sister, Jennifer Smith Palmer (Robert) of Saxe, VA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Warren Napier.

Billy was an umpire for many softball leagues including NSA, ASA, VHSL, USSSA and he loved the time he spent with family, friends and at the ball field. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church, the Sons of the American Legion, and the South Hill Moose Lodge.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11am, Tuesday, April 17, 2018 by Dr. Doug Willett at Farrar Funeral Chapel in South Hill with interment at 3pm at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch, VA.
