Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about Fred's passing. I was honored to have worked for Fred at Brodnax. Even after the years I still considered him a good friend and a great man.

Fred was always the first to extend a hand in greeting and offer a smile.


He made our Sunday School class fun starting with a joke before getting into serious material.
He also was great with all the children in his creative children's time.

I know that he will be missed here by all that knew him.

Condolence: I was working with Fred in trying to help him find full-time employment. He was always smiling and full of life and never appeared to be down. We had talked about celebrating birthdays next year together as mine is 8/16. He was always friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss working with him. He had become one of my favorite customers. God Bless you and your family and I will have you all in my prayers and thoughts and I know for a fact that he and his angels will be by your side during your time of grief and the rest of your lives.

Condolence: Kathy and family, I am so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I enjoyed his children's time at Tabernacle. Not only did the children enjoy his wonderful stories but the grown ups did as well. Tabernacle is truly blessed to have both of you as dedicated members. Look to the Lord for strength in the coming weeks and know he is with you always.

You and Fred have been such an asset to our church family at Tabernacle Baptist Church. I will truly miss my Children's Church sidekick. Whenever I needed him he was always there. He was also special because we were both born on August 17th a few years apart. Have to love those Leo's.
