Mrs. Rebecca Elliott "Dolly Sasser, age 71 of South Hill died Friday, November 13, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Carl Leroy Sasser of the home; three sons, Carl Leroy Sasser, Jr. (Darlene) of South Hill, Ricky Sasser of Bracey, and Gary Sasser (Amanda) of LaCrosse. Also surviving are five grandchildren, T.C., Patrick, Sydney Ann, Carrington and Maddox Sasser; two sisters, Nancy Roach and Belle Sadler (Herman) both of Emporia and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sasser was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Obie B. Elliott, and brothers O.B. Elliott, Jimmy Elliott, and Bud Elliott.

"Dolly" spent many years in the banking industry having begun her career with Citizens Bank and retiring with BB&T. She was a member of First Baptist Church of South Hill and the Ladies of the Moose.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2pm, Sunday November 15th at Crestview Memorial Park in LaCrosse, VA.
