Mrs. Terry Baisey Callahan, age 60 of Chase City, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband, Daniel L “Rusty” Callahan of the home; children Christopher Ryan Baisey (Stephanie), Michael Travis Baisey (Gabby), both of Charlotte, Adam Benjamin Callahan and Amy Elizabeth Callahan of Chase City. Also surviving is her mother, Daisy D. Wikinson; two brothers, Thomas Edward Wilkinson (Debra) and Keith O’Neal Wilkinson (Elma) all of South Hill and grandchild, Bennett Baisey. She was preceded in death by her father Luther Marvin Wilkinson.

Terry was an elementary school teacher for more than 35 years and each child was special to her. She was member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and can best be described as a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11am Monday, August 15 at Farrar Funeral Home in South Hill. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7-8:30 at the funeral home. The family request memorial considerations be made in her memory to Hendrick Cancer Center, P O Box 90, South Hill, VA 23970. Online condolences to www.farrarfuneralhome.net.
