Dear Kerry -- How my heart goes out to you and Charlie.
It was such a shock to me to read in our Reading paper this morning about Carol's passing. I was expecting her to be coming here in September to stay with me and attend the Chili Pepper Fest as we had been doing for the past several years.

I have been thinking about all of the good times we shared over the many years that I knew your mother and my thoughts and prayers are with you now.

Condolence: Wow, What a shock this was. Just saw her very recently and thought she was fine. We are told that we are not promised tomorrow and this is certainly a case of that. She was one of the nicest people I have ever known and will be greatly missed. May God go with each member of her family in the months ahead without her.
